- Develop and execute the QHSE strategy in alignment with the company's objectives and goals.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the QHSE team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Engage with management to communicate the importance of QHSE and gain support for initiatives.
- Monitor and interpret QHSE regulations, ensuring compliance with Newrest, local, regional, and international standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and non-compliance issues.
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities and maintain all necessary permits and certifications.
- Develop and implement comprehensive Health and Safety policies and programs.
- Assess and mitigate workplace hazards, and promote a safe working environment for everyone.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
- Oversee the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Implement quality assurance processes, ensuring products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Facilitate internal and external quality audits and manage corrective actions.
- Develop and implement environmentally sustainable practices to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
- Track and report on environmental performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Foster environmental awareness and responsibility across the organization.
- Conduct QHSE training programs to educate employees on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure proper training and competency assessment for QHSE team members.
- Prepare and present QHSE performance reports to management and stakeholders.
- Analyze data to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and develop action plans.
- Be diligent, punctual, and reliable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
