- Develop and execute the organization's quality strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership to the quality management team and drive a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the QMS to enhance overall quality performance.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Implement quality control measures to monitor and evaluate product/service quality throughout the lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of relevant quality regulations and standards and ensure organizational compliance.
- Lead efforts to prepare for and manage regulatory inspections and audits.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction through quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement and supplier management teams to establish and maintain robust supplier quality management processes.
- Ensure suppliers meet quality requirements and address any quality issues in a timely manner.
- Champion customer-centric quality initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to address quality-related concerns.
- Build and develop a high-performing quality management team.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing quality strategies and initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, ISO standards).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar certifications preferred.
