Description
Title: Quality Manager - Kitchen & Bathroom Cabinets
Plant location: Middle Georgia (relocation provided)
Salary: $70,000 - $100, % Bonus
Responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of the quality assurance program across all stages of the manufacturing process.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement by collaborating with various departments to swiftly resolve quality challenges and implement effective corrective measures.
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program, including material inspection, in-process inspection, and final product review.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
Develop and implement procedures to continuously improve product quality and address defects.
Utilize quality metrics and data analysis to identify trends, address deficiencies, and enhance product quality.
Provide guidance to the production team on quality control procedures and techniques.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of the manufacturing process, products, equipment, and facilities.
Requirements:
Must have experience in quality management or quality control in a wood related manufacturing environment, cabinet manufacturing experience is a plus.
Exceptional leadership skills with clear, impactful communication.
Proficient in interpreting and acting on complex information with attention to detail.
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to listen, understand, and act on information effectively.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Ability to lift up to 30-60 pounds at times, with team lifting when necessary.
Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions and exposure to typical manufacturing environment noises and smells.
