- Prepare complex fiscal reports, turning raw data into monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Be the star of the show during the monthly closing process and annual audit process.
- Join the financial planning process by helping prepare the annual budget for various departments and programs.
- Be part of the orchestra for the annual & single audit, and dazzle with your schedule preparations.
- Shine on stage during site & desk audits, ensuring all responses are show-stopping before submission.
- Keep the rhythm of effective internal controls alive and kicking.
- Create captivating Grant Reports (monthly/quarterly/annually) for Mental Health Federal, State, and Local Grants and contracts. Ensure these reports are filed promptly and accurately, resolving any financial mysteries along the way.
- Create monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, using your GAAP expertise to ensure financial statements are pitch-perfect.
- Star in the monthly Cash Flow Forecasts and Cash Flow Projections, maintaining the records for funds drawn, disbursed, and deposited.
- Rock the stage with monthly bank account reconciliations and journal entries
- Take on thrilling Special Projects that will keep you on your toes.
- Keep the accounting documents and reports in the spotlight, filing, maintaining, and distributing them like a pro.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting - This is a MUST
- 2+ years of experience as a financial virtuoso, including general ledger, payroll, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Bonus points for experience with mid-market accounting software, non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and federal grants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced users, you're our rockstars).
- You have a knack for complex mathematical calculations that would make even Einstein jealous.
- Your organizational skills are second to none, and you bring a laser-like focus to detail.
