    Description

    **Position Profile**

We are searching for a strategically oriented, passionate credit union advocate focused on the organization's financial well-being and our community. This position assists members with financial products and services in a professional and courteous manner.

    **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES**

    Completes efficient and accurate performance of teller functions

    Establishes new membership and seeks to maximize product and service usage with new and existing members of the credit union

    Performs duties and responsibilities with regard to opening and processing changes on the following accounts types:

    > Certificate Accounts

    > Savings Accounts

    > IRA Accounts

    > Legal Accounts

    > Checking Accounts

    Primary contact for questions regarding member transactions

    Ensures all legal requirements have been met with assisting members

    Actively cross-sells credit union products and services.

    Receives share deposits and loan payments

    Processes cash advances, official checks, money orders and other financial transactions

    Monitors deposit amounts and examines documents for endorsement and negotiability

    Fulfills Hiways value proposition, member promise, and employee promise

    Meets scorecard performance goals

    Adheres to any and all current and/or future policies, procedures and guidelines.

    Assumes all duties as assigned by management
