    Description

    Piper Companies is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for an opportunity in Baltimore, Maryland (MD), to join a design services company creating finished products for the healthcare, science & technology, commercial, and other industries.

    Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer
    Lead Registered Professional Engineer overseeing engineering projects, applying sound judgment in modifying standard techniques and criteria
    Conceptualize and guide major phases of facility projects, managing engineering work and coordinating with external agencies
    Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and design teams, resolving complex issues and ensuring project progress
    Supervise project design and progress, review technical documents, and oversee less experienced engineers and support staff.

    Qualifications of the Mechanical Engineer
    ~10+ years of design experience in mission critical centers and/or infrastructure (or equivalent combination of experience and graduate-level education)
    ~ Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs such as Revit MEP or AutoCAD is preferred
    ~ Professional Engineering License (PE) is highly preferred
    ~ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering is required

    Compensation for the Mechanical Engineer

    Salary Range :
    $150,000 - $200,000 per year
