    Description

    Facilities Technician

    AAA East Central offers an opportunity for a Facilities Technician located at the administrative headquarter on Marcon Boulevard, Allentown, PA.

    The Facilities Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining our facilities and possesses a keen eye for detail. They handle general building and grounds maintenance, along with construction tasks for our administrative and branch locations within a 50-mile radius.

    This position requires a Monday – Friday schedule from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with the flexibility for overtime if necessary.

    Responsibilities:

    • Daily visits to AAA facilities, utilizing a company-provided vehicle for transporting maintenance equipment, shipments, and retail materials.
    • Oversight of interior and exterior building maintenance, ensuring safety, security, housekeeping, and various maintenance tasks are addressed promptly.
    • Support in shipping, order fulfillment, stock maintenance, office projects, furniture relocation, and event set up.
    • Demonstrate responsibility, organization, reliability, and attention to detail while following OSHA equipment use standards.

    What We're Seeking:

    • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
    • Ability to work autonomously.
    • Knowledge and adherence to OSHA regulations and safety protocols related to the role.
    • Willingness to work one Sunday annually for the AAA Travel Expo in February.

    Safe Business Driving Requirements

    • Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
    • Proof of automobile liability insurance is mandatory.
