- Leads and directs the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives to maximize hotel service and profitability
- Meets weekly and monthly sales goals
- Road warrior 2 days a week to find and close on new business
- Understands and closes on extended stay business
- Interacts with clients, directs solicitation efforts, and secures business
- Act and look the part by being clever, professional, and setting a positive example
- Assist in the preparation of annual sales and marketing plans to accurately forecast budgets and achieve required operating results.
- Assist and execute plans and asset management initiatives, including working with senior leadership to maintain or improve property's market leadership position
- Demonstrate brand citizenship by maintaining compliance with all required brand standards, behaviors, hallmarks and license agreement mandates
- Know your guests by being thoughtful, adaptable, and building connections for them
- Make time to interact with guests, solicit feedback and build relationships
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Minimum 2 years Hotel Director of Sales, Sales Manager, or direct hotel sales experience is REQUIRED
- Hilton brand experience strongly preferred
- Understands extended stay tiers
- Proactive approach to prospecting for new business as well as account penetration and saturation
- Superb organizational and follow up skills
- Computer Skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook a must
