    The Stanford Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to assist with the execution of marketing and communications activities that support the programs and events of the Stanford Center for Youth Mental Health & Wellbeing (CYMHW), which collaborates with youth, their families, and communities to accelerate the creation, implementation, and evaluation of innovative, culturally-responsive mental health and wellbeing programs, with an emphasis on increasing equity, expanding access and centering youth voice. Some of the CYMHWs areas of focus include tribal youth mental health, peer to peer support, early psychosis, media and mental health, school mental health and centering youth voice. In addition, this position will be heavily involved in supporting the brand and communications for the allcove model and its 10+ established and emerging pilot centers. allcove is an innovative, first of its kind in the US approach to integrated, mild-moderate services for youth ages Modeled off of successful international models, the pilot of allcove is creating stand-alone, integrated care sites for young people ages 12-25 to access early mental health support, physical health, substance use, peer support, family support and supported education and employment services all under one roof. Working under the supervision of the Brand and Communications Manager (BCM), but as part of a growing team, this position will facilitate timely and engaging communication about CYMHWs programs directly to the diverse communities it serves.

    Duties include:

    Provide administrative support to the CYMHW and the Brand and Communications Manager, assisting in all marketing and communication activities for the programs within the CYMHW.

    Assist with marketing plans/programs to meet business objectives, including coordinating with internal stakeholders.

    Draft, edit, and schedule select marketing communications for a variety of channels (i.e., web, print, email, online).

    Monitor, track and report marketing program effectiveness.

    Review and report post-event/program/campaign data.

    Assist in quality control of data and marketing materials.

    Support the planning and execution of events.

    Support the creation and launch of tools and processes to improve marketing efforts.

    Contribute to vendor selection, arrangements, and scheduling.

    Coordinate vendor estimates and invoice processing.

    Develop and maintain an understanding of CYMHWs major programs, services, events and products.

    Work with the BCM in creating, updating and maintaining all CYMHW program websites, including the and websites.

    Assist with monitoring and supporting the 10+ allcove centers throughout California with adherence to allcove brand guidelines.

    Contribute to regular brand trainings, webinars and toolkit resources for internal and external audiences.

    Support with website subpages and social media account management and training to the 10+ allcove centers.

    Collect and edit content submissions for the CYMHW newsletter, manage the review and publication process.

    Implement and post content on CYMHW social media channels according to content creation and storytelling plans.

    Represent the brand(s) by attending and/or planning conferences and other community events, including helping to design communications materials like conference programs, signage, booths, giveaways, etc.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Experience working with adolescents and young adults in a mental health, health or social service related field is a plus.

    Experience and familiarity with website management (Wordpress), working with design and communications platforms such as Constant Contact, Adobe InDesign, Canva, Slack, Google Business, Google Analytics.

    General understanding of UI/UX principles (designing around the user experience).

    Understanding of brand and trademark management.

    Strong editing skills and experience in writing in plain language.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

    Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

    Strong oral and written communication skills.
    Highly organized and creative.
    Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.
    Demonstrated team player.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

    Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
    Frequently stand/walk, sit, use a telephone, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, speaking.
    Occasionally grasp forcefully, writing by hand.
    Rarely sort/file paperwork.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Occasional work on evenings and weekends.

    This position is based in Stanfords Research Park and has the option of a telecommuting/hybrid schedule subject to operational needs.

    The expected pay range for this position is $32.69 to $39.42 per hour.

    Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
