$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32-40 per week


Overview:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Create social media content and manage online community for all CaliBunga San Jose social channels.
  • Support Marketing team on major campaigns as needed including park opening, special events, group sales and other important promotions
  • Develop new content ideas and find trends to integrate into content to support business goals
  • Capture photos and videos of the park, Plan and schedule content
  • Film and edit video content in a timely manner
  • Engage in community marketing initiatives and outreach
  • Develop brand and expand corporate relationships
  • Provide exceptional, friendly guest service on social channels and in person with a high level of responsiveness and attention to detail
  • Respond to online reviews and comments, and communicate feedback to marketing management Maintain a positive brand reputation through social listening
  • Suggest ways to optimize systems, content, engagement and conversions
  • Communicate well with guests, fellow team members and management
  • Perform in a positive, friendly, professional and alert manner
  • Gain knowledge and understanding of park and departmental procedures
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in both appearance and conduct on and off the park
  • Assist groups with booking online to drive ticket sales and revenue
  • Assist marketing and sales team to execute special events
  • Assist in R&D and outreach to local community, schools, nonprofits, corporations, etc.
  • Fosters strong relationships with event clients and operational teams by making accessibility and responsiveness a priority
  • Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities of all sales and marketing department activities.
  • Ability to function in a fastpaced environment, handle multiple projects and meet frequent deadlines.
  • Provides ready assistance to sales management to ensure all services exceed guest expectations.
  • Coordinates menus, promotions and programs as outlined by the Marketing and Sales management team
  • Communicate details of onsite events, or groups to management and park departments
  • Assist with daytoday operations and event day operations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by GM or Marketing Manager

Requirements:


  • Education: High School Diploma is required. College degree is preferred, but not required
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of relevant marketing or sales experience
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule during operating season which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical demands include the ability to frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position items and boxes weighing up to 25 pounds as well as standing, walking, crouching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing.

Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors in varying climates
