We're seeking a Contract Manager to join our stellar team on contract basis in a remote capacity. You will have the opportunity to work with our cutting edge products in creating new features and functionality.

Work-Mode:
This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.


Job Responsibilities:


The contract management role involves overseeing and managing the various contracts that Broadridge Global Technology and Operations business unit enters into with clients.

Responsibilities may include ensuring inclusion of key contract terms, reviewing and drafting contract documents and ensuring that needed approvals have been received.


  • Reviewing contract documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Drafting contract templates and standard clauses for use in different types of contracts
  • Monitoring contract performance and compliance with contract terms
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts
  • Managing approval process for any concessions and deviations
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure smooth contract execution
  • Maintaining tracking of where contracts are in the process
  • Evaluating contract performance and making recommendations for improvements

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS
  • 2+ years of work experience in contract management
  • Certificate in paralegal studies
  • Internal / external negotiations experience
  • Contract drafting and review: Contract manager should be proficient in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts to ensure that they align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Attention to detail: Contract management involves reviewing, analyzing, and drafting contracts, so it's essential to have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and minimize risks.
  • Communication skills: Effective communication is key in contract management, as contract manager needs to clearly convey information, negotiate terms, and resolve conflicts.
  • Analytical skills: Contract manager should be able to analyze contract terms and conditions, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Legal knowledge: A basic understanding of contract law and legal terminology is important for contract managers to draft and review contracts effectively.
  • Time management skills: Contract manager will often handle multiple contracts simultaneously, so the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Problemsolving skills: Contract manager must be able to identify issues, find solutions, and resolve conflicts that may arise during the contract management process.
  • Relationship management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and clients is crucial for successful contract management.
