Lincoln Electric is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Cleveland R&D operations - (Relocation Assistance Available)

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Cleveland R&D operations. This is an exciting opportunity to participate as an electrical engineer within the Industrial Electrics Group business unit as a design engineer to develop new and/or improve existing products.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering degree is required with ideally 3+ years of professional experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to stay organized while balancing multiple projects.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in design, testing and troubleshooting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work in R&D on the design, development and innovation of new products for the Industrial Electrics Business Unit.

Serve as a hardware engineer for the development and/or modification of circuits, PCBs, magnetic components, and complete welding products.

Work closely with software engineers to fulfill a product definition.

Perform and supervise the testing of new designs, processes, warranty improvements and cost reductions.

Coordinates the activities of technical support personnel and may lead cross-functional teams.

Collaborate with team colleagues, R&D, Manufacturing, Production, Supply, Quality and Service Departments to establish and achieve objectives.

Engineer safe, high quality, cost effective, ergonomic, and environmentally responsible parts, subsystems and complete machines.

Support Sales, Marketing, Service and customer issues as required.

Be responsible for the design, specifications, documentation and compliance of each new product.

Work with Supply Management to improve quality, manufacturability and value of our new products.

Coordinate activities of technical support personnel as required.

Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.
