    *Electrical Engineer**Detroit, MI (Hybrid)

    *Full-time (40 hours/week)

    *$70,000+ (DOE)

    *\*We are unable to provide sponsorship at this time\**As an Electrical Engineer, you will be joining the largest Electric Utility players in Michigan. As part of a multibillion-dollar investment toward grid modernization, you will be responsible for evaluating current standards, performing studies on new technology, and creating new standards to ensure safe, reliable, clean electricity for over 2 million customers.

    *Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
    • 1+ years of experience evaluating electrical industry code and collaborating with stakeholders to implement changes as necessary
    • 1+ years of experience creating documentation outlining scope of work, project progress and results
    • Preferably familiar with NESC/NEC requirements
    *Responsibilities:

    • Planning and conducting complex engineering activities focused on protection, relay schemes and equipment
    • Perform studies as it relates to new technologies such as structural resiliency
    • Create documentation communicating project progress on implementing new standards
    • Participating in projects that ensure the safe delivery of electricity from distribution to commercial transformers.
    • Reviewing weekly reports related to ongoing projects.
    • Providing status updates to team members and project stakeholders.
    • Assisting in project management tasks as needed.
    • Expectation of fieldwork, including site visits and inspections.
