Business Analyst - Top Secret SCI Eligible

Business Analyst with an active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

as part of an ongoing contract in Washington, DC.

This is a full-time, hybrid role three (3) days on-site two (2) days remote AFTER TRAINING.

Please note:
Due to the secure nature of this government agency, all candidates must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident and have an active Top-Secret Clearance and be SCI eligible.
The successful candidate will receive a contingent offer based on the outcome of a government background check. This may take several weeks, and the candidate cannot begin actual employment until the background check is successfully completed.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

This role requires a strong understanding of both business and technology to effectively bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams.

Primary Duties:
Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and requirements.
Develop and document business process models and workflows.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
Develop and present business cases and proposals for solutions.
Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Assist in the development and implementation of new systems and processes.
Provide ongoing support and analysis to ensure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in business process modeling and workflow analysis tools.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.

Preferred certifications/education:
Master's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).
