Job DescriptionG&C Foods is looking to grow our Transportation team by adding a Trailer Image Control Specialist
The Trailer Image Control Specialist will work in the Truck Yard and Garage at our facility in Syracuse, NY This role will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sterilization of trailers.
Schedule: Nights
Hours: Sunday-Wednesday 3pm-2am or Wednesday-Saturday 3pm-2am
Salary Range: $17.00-$20.00 an hour
Essential Functions:
•Wash interior of trailers per G&C Foods Trailer Sanitation Policy.
•Wash outside of the trailer.
•Pre-trip the trailer and yard truck.
•Operates Yard Tractor in a safe and responsible manner.
•Fuel Trailers as needed.
•Pulls all returns and pallet jacks off trailers left in the yard and plug them in.
•Empty trash by fuel pumps and by vacuum in garage as needed.
•Report Service issues to your supervisor.
•Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
•Collaborate with snow removal company to ensure safe operations of the yard during snowstorms/winter months.
•Check yard for debris/trash that could cause damage to equipment (i.e. trailer wash area).
•Performs other functions as needed or directed by Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•General knowledge of yard operations
•Knowledge of G&C Foods Safety policies
•Attention to detail
•Effective communication skills
•Punctuality and good attendance a must
Education or Experience required:
•High School Diploma or GED
•NYS Drivers License
•Class A License preferred
