    ** In-Office Position **

    Basic Position Function

    Assess and manage imported inventory in-and outflow to ensure optimal stock levels within North America. Must be knowledgeable about import customs compliance and food safety.

    Primary functions and Responsibilities

    Essential Duties

    1. Assess and manage inventory levels for key account.

    2. Issue replenishment purchase orders.

    3. Coordinate and oversee timely execution from International factories.

    Job Duties

    Assess and analyze JIT inventory flow at all warehouse locations

    Monitor and ensure international shipment execution and movement

    Coordinate overseas factories production and shipment execution

    Issue purchase orders to international factories

    Coordinate overseas 3rd party inspections

    Support and work with internal departments to ensure timely import documentation receipt and review

    When necessary, work with ocean carriers and vessel operations team to resolve issues

    Monitor and, when necessary, troubleshoot inbound container release

    Other

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Supervisory

    This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor's degree preferred. Min. 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Skills

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, vendors, and the general public. Ability to write effective communication in various mediums using original or innovative techniques or style.

    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,

    common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,

    interest, commissions, exchange rates, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and

    geometry.

    Computer Skills

    Job requires specialized computer skills. Must be adept at using various applications including

    database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing,

    presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

    Working Conditions:

    May require work hours in excess of 8 hours per day or 5 days per week. Must be willing to work in the evening, early morning, and weekend if/when needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
