- Greet patients by phone or in-person, schedule their appointments in the computer and create a positive, welcoming experience
- Manage the daily, weekly, and monthly schedule and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure a smooth clinic flow
- Register new patients and maintain accurate patient records
- Check that lab cases have been received the day before treatment, and call in lab cases if needed
- Keep patients informed of expected wait time if a doctor is behind schedule
- Filling out and explaining interpreter forms
- Explain ER protocol/procedures to patients
- Copy and scan documents into patients' charts
- Request chart/patient transfers
- Record patient issues/conversations in communication log or chart
- Monday-Thursday: 2:20pm-9:30pm
- Friday: 12:50pm-5:30pm
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably within an office setting
- Bilingual proficiency in Hmong, Karen, Somali or Spanish preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and skilled at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced within MS Office or other computer software

CDC has a full-time opportunity for a Scheduling Coordinator at our Maplewood clinic for the PM shift. This position serves a critical role in the clinic as they are often the first point of contact with the patient and enable the clinic to run smoothly.
**There is an extra $3.00 more per hour for working PM hours (referred to as shift differential pay.)
