    **We are currently recruiting to fill an Assistant Branch Manager position for our location in Waukegan.**

    **What youll do in this role:**

    As an **Assistant Branch Manager**, youll partner in leadership with the Branch Manager to lead the branch to *excellence*. Youll perform in multiple roles as a banker, concierge, teller, leader, mentor, auditor, and operations expert.

    As a manager, youll ensure the Branch Specialist (teller/personal banker) team maintains expert knowledge, provides excellent service, and consistently meets CCU's expectations and youll do it with passion, excitement, and energy

    **Your Day to Day Will Include:**

    Providing coaching, training, and feedback to Branch Specialists, coordinating activities/schedules, and management tasks such as Performance Reviews, Development Plans, Performance Improvement Plans, etc.

    Assisting members with any requests that come your way, such as opening various types of accounts, assisting with escalated service challenges, and completing special service requests.

    Overseeing and managing branch responsibilities and operational functions, like ATM, ITM, dispatch, vault, ordering currency, regulatory compliance, and conducting audits.

    In the absence of the Branch Manager you will be responsible for running the branch at times.

    **What were looking for:**

    H.S. Diploma or Equivalency is required.

    2 to 5 years of management experience in a retail environment - Financial Services experience is preferred.

    Outstanding leadership, management, and coaching skills

    A true passion for service, tact, superior judgment, and excellent communication skills are necessary

    Flexibility to work roughly 45 hours per week between the following hours:

    + Monday Thursday: 7:30 am-6:30 pm; Friday: 7:30 am-7:30 pm; and Regular Saturdays: 7:30 am-2:30 pm.
