    Description

    A global law firm has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 2nd – 6th year Associate in the U.S. State and Local Tax (SALT) Practice of our Orange County or San Francisco office. They offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. They are consistently among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100; the Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from variety of industries across the country.

    Job Requirements:

    • Candidates must have solid academic credentials from a top law school, strong writing and advocacy skills, and be admitted to the California bar.
    • Interest in federal and state tax controversies is required.
    • Prior government experience, from a state or federal government agency or court, and an LLM in Taxation from a top law school is welcome, but not required.
    • Some property tax experience is preferred.
