As a Junior Case Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and resolution of tax cases for individuals or businesses.

This role involves working closely with senior case managers, tax authorities, legal professionals, and clients to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Junior Tax Case Managers help to gather information, analyze financial data, and support the overall case management process.

Responsibilities:


  • Assisting in the review of tax returns and financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage a high volume of inbound client calls.
  • Handle sensitive IRS documents, such as transcripts and notices, with confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Communicating with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to gather information and documentation.
  • Documenting all interactions and updates using the company's CRM system.
  • Assisting in the preparation of case files, reports, and presentations for review.
  • Participating in meetings and discussions with senior tax case managers to develop case strategies.
  • Monitoring case progress and deadlines to ensure timely resolution.
  • Providing administrative support, such as organizing documents and maintaining case files.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to support case management efforts

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in tax case management, audit representation, or tax consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools and technology.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and case management.
  • Commitment to client service and confidentiality, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
