    Special Education Teacher - Omaha, NE

    ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with a range of special needs and will be committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
    • Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
    • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student success.
    • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary.
    • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
    • Valid Nebraska teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
    • Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
