Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The Special Education Teacher will play a key role in providing specialized instruction, support, and acmodations to students with disabilities. We are looking for a caring and resourceful professional who is mitted to creating meaningful learning experiences and promoting student success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, in collaboration with parents, general education teachers, and support staff.
• Adapt instructional materials and methods to meet the unique learning needs of students with disabilities across various grade levels and subject areas.
• Provide targeted interventions and supports to help students achieve academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, technologies, and resources to engage students and facilitate learning in inclusive classroom settings.
• Monitor student progress, assess learning outes, and adjust instructional plans as needed to ensure student growth and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, including special education team members, related service providers, and administrators, to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with disabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
• Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Special Education (K-12).
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school or educational setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices in assessment, instruction, and intervention.
• Excellent munication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
