    Description

    Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Specialist Position at Our School

    We are currently looking for a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Specialist to join our school community. As a SEL Specialist, you will work closely with scholars, teachers, families, and School Leadership to provide school-based Counseling sessions, implement Social Emotional Learning curricula, and manage day-to-day crisis support.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Day-to-day implementation of school-based Counseling sessions
    • Participation in identifying at-risk scholars
    • Developing and implementing Social Emotional Learning curricula
    • De-escalating behavior and providing crisis support
    • Collaborating in the design and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

    Requirements:

    • Hold a valid New York State Education Department Certification in Social Work, School Counseling, or School Psychology
    • Experience with behavioral assessment tools
    • Prior experience in a school setting
    • Background in counseling and crisis
    • High moral character and passion for learning

    Compensation:

    Annual Salary: $65,000.00
