Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of retail and compounding aspects
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Manage inventory levels and procurement
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise pharmacy staff
Provide leadership and guidance to ensure adherence to best practices
Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with USP 800, 797, and 795 regulations
Investigate and address quality-related issues promptly
Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain active pharmacist licenses in all operating states
Stay informed about compounding regulations and communicate updates
Customer Service:
Collaborate with healthcare providers to meet patient needs
Provide exceptional service and patient counseling
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Active pharmacist license in Texas (required)
Minimum 5 years of Pharmacist In Charge experience
Proficiency in pharmacy software systems
Board-Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist (BCSCP) certification preferred
License/Certification:
Licensed Pharmacist in Texas (required)
IV Certification as required by TX BOP (required)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to take initiative and adapt to changes
Emotional stability and coachability
Experience:
Managing a pharmacy with multiple staff pharmacists: 3 years (required)
