Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and according to State Board of Pharmacy regulations, performs assigned duties involving preparation, distribution, and billing of pharmaceuticals, and will be responsible for other tasks assigned. Assists the director in making the technician schedules and makes recommendations to the Director regarding performance evaluation. Coordinates and completes the monthly departmental charges and forwards to Accounting. Coordinates and completes the monthly charges for medications sold to physicians offices to Accounting. Assists the Director in completing monthly operations reports and IOP indicators. A role model and trainer of new technicians. Assists in other administrative duties assigned.
