    Overview:

    Our client, is an American multinational investment bank and financial services holding company, is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join their team in Plano, TX.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze data to detect suspicious activities and transactions using advanced analytics techniques.
    • Develop data-driven models to identify patterns indicative of financial crimes.
    • Reporting and Visualization:
    • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
    • Design interactive data visualizations to enhance understanding of financial crime risks.
    • Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate potential impacts of financial crimes.
    • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay informed about regulatory developments related to financial crimes compliance.
    • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial crimes.
    • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to enhance processes related to financial crimes detection and prevention.
    • Implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce risks.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Experience in data analysis and visualization, preferably in financial services.
    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar languages.
    • Knowledge of Teradata for efficient data manipulation and analysis.
    • Understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
