    L2 Enterprise Operations Engineer at DIGITALSPEC

    Location: Washington, DC or Beltsville, MD


    Education: Bachelor's Degree and Relevant Experience


    Clearance Requirement: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance Needed.


    Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience working with IT or computer information systems
    • Proficiency in IT hardware troubleshooting
    • Familiarity with Active Directory administration
    • Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems and VMWare virtualization
    • Ability to work autonomously on projects and complex issues
    • Collaboration with IT service center and/or EL1 Service Desk
    • Performance of EL2 Service Request Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management procedures
    • Resolution of EL2 tickets, including customer support, device setup, break-fix, etc.
    • Routing and escalation of unresolved tickets to appropriate EL3 Subject Matter Experts
    • Integration with other service providers as needed
    • Referral of unrelated tickets to the relevant entity
    • Timely completion of EL2 tickets within defined SLA targets
    • Implementation of rules and Standard Operating Procedures as directed by Diplomatic Security and the FAH or FAM
    • Maintenance of troubleshooting guidelines and directories that support Program Office services
    • Participation in various ITIL processes (configuration management, change management, release management, service-level management, availability management, capacity management, service continuity management, information security management)
    • Monitoring of IT infrastructure using designated tools and ensuring continuous configuration of monitoring tools for comprehensive system awareness
