    Description

    A health system in the Arlington Heights area is looking for a Medical Biller to join the government billing reimbursement team for a contract to hire opportunity This person will be joining a team of medical billers and collectors, and be focused on sending out medical bills for Medicare covered patients.

    They will also be tasked with following up on payers for unpaid bills and resending accordingly. They'll primarily be utilizing the WPS portal for each account and only handling hospital bills, not physician. This position will be onsite for training but will open up to a hybrid/remote schedule once up to speed.

    Required Skills & Experience

    3-5 years Medicare billing exp

    Knows how to work in WPS (not NGS)

    Hospital billing exp

    DDE experience

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    Experience with follow up, denials, and appeals regarding medical billing

    Epic experience


    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
