Description

• Electronic and paper claims filing using AdvancedMD.
• Prepare and process billing transactions, adjustments.
• Scanning of EOBs / documentation of insurance and patient correspondence.
• Claim and denial follow up and appeals.
• Work with insurance companies for audits, record requests, etc.
• Assist with meeting monthly close deadlines with billing and accounts payable.
• Provide guidance and oversight to a team of virtual billing assistants.

• 5 years of billing experience minimum. Management experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPTcoding, physician billing and experience filing insurance claims required. Certified CPC, CPB or CRCR preferred. Bachelors degree preferred.
• Psychiatry billing experience preferred.
• Strong verbal, written communication, and customer service skills required.
• Detail oriented, problem solver/analytical, flexible and selfmotivated.
• Organized ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
