    POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

    The Retail Support Specialist is responsible for providing informational support to Retail Banking Management and Sales and Service Managers in areas where applicable to Retail Operations. Additionally, this position is also responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures as they relate to Retail Banking.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Three (3) years banking experience specifically branch or operations experience required.

    Strong MS Office skills required, including, but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Serve as subject matter expert regarding policies and procedures for the banking centers as well as equipment, programming and software systems as it relates to deposit retail banking and ITM technology.

    Assist with roll outs and testing of hardware and software updates including cash recyclers and ITMs.

    Answer questions received via the Retail Operations Loop and work with the Director of Retail Administration to ensure higher efficiency.

    Assist with UAT testing during new implementations and during IRB and yearly releases

    Maintain efficiency by sharing suggestions gained from conversations with the Director of Retail Administration that can enhance the workflow.

    Stay current on changes to products, procedures and policy of the bank and update procedures as needed.

    Effectively use bank resources, procedure manuals and reference materials to independently service inquiries when necessary.

    Works with Director of Retail Administration on multiple projects simultaneously to ensure banking centers are comfortable with new initiatives that affect the deposit side.

    Partners with various internal resources to provide ongoing troubleshooting and issue resolution.

    Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

    Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, and distance vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    Travel between Republic Banking facilities is required.

    Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.

    Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings, weekends and overtime.

    Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
