    Our client is a renowned luxury fashion brand known for its exquisite craftsmanship and timeless style, continuing to redefine the world of fashion with their iconic designs and commitment to excellence.

    They are looking to add a Temporary Planning Manager to their team. Join their team and be part of a legacy that transcends generations.

    SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
    $40/hr – $45/hr

    POSITION OVERVIEW:


    The Temporary Planning Manager will play a key role in overseeing and managing the planning processes to ensure the efficient flow of merchandise throughout the retail channels.

    This Temporary Planning Manager position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for the fashion industry.


    RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TEMPORARY PLANNING MANAGER:
    Develop and execute comprehensive merchandise planning strategies to support sales targets and business objectives.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Inventory Management, and Retail Operations to optimize inventory levels and assortments.
    Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast demand and identify opportunities for growth.
    Monitor inventory levels and implement replenishment strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocks.
    Drive the open-to-buy process, manage purchase orders, and allocate merchandise to maximize sales and profitability.
    Prepare and present reports and analyses to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
    Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE TEMPORARY PLANNING MANAGER:5 – 7 years of experience in merchandise planning or a similar role within the fashion or retail industry.

    Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail planning software.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
    Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    Passion for the fashion industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
