    Our client, a private label company that specializes in Apparel, and Accessories is searching for a Perm Swimwear Designer to focus on designing Women's Swim line

    SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
    $100,000 – $130,000 depending on experience

    POSITION OVERVIEW:


    This Perm Swimwear Designer candidate will play a key role in designing the women's wear line from beginning through production.

    This Perm Swimwear Designer position allows someone to be creative.

    RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PERM SWIMWEAR DESIGNER:
    Experience Women's Swimwear Designer
    Sketch detailed flats, design presentation boards, shop market for the latest trends, and has strong technical skills
    Spec garments, create specs, and communicate with overseas factories
    Strong understanding of designing the Women's Swimwear line from beginning through production
    Maintaining deadlines for multiple accounts
    Ensuring designs are trend-right, customer appropriate, and cost effective
    Collaborating closely with a fun & talented team of designers
    Overseeing and mentoring junior designers

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PERM SWIMWEAR DESIGNER:
    Must be able work in a fast pace environment
    5 years plus of experience in Women's Swim
    Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM
    Ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented with the agility to work on multiple projects at a time
    A positive and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners to achieve the vision of the brands

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelor's degree is required
