Your role in our mission
This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of the CT Medical Assistance Program as well as in-depth mastery of the related online screens and windows required for provider research. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to respond to inquiries from the provider community regarding all aspects of the Connecticut Medical Assistance Program, including policy and billing procedures. Responsible to conduct research on claims resolution, billing procedures, and answer provider inquiries. This person will conduct provider training via virtual or onsite visits as well as provider workshops and additionally training to both client and internal users. Additional responsibilities will include drafting bulletins, provider billing instructions, contributing to the development of definition documents related to program changes to assigned provider groups. Ideal candidate will have strong experience in MS Office Suite as well as SharePoint Designer and familiar with formatting HTML code.

The pay range for this position is $56, $80,400.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
