- Analyze and maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy of coding and costs.
- Reconciliation of intercompany accounts as well as investments in subsidiaries
- Preparation of month-end entries including payroll, interest, expense, and revenue accruals
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Assist with supervision of A/P and A/R personnel.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and prepare monthly depreciation entries.
- Assist with annual budgets and forecasts.
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting - 5 years accounting experience demonstrating a strong proficiency with accounting and financial principles
- Retail or Consumer Products company experience is
- Strong computer skills including Excel.
- Strong character and ethical values
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to be effective at communicating with all levels of the organization as well as suppliers, vendors, and customers
