Forklift Operator


Duties:


  • Operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials in a warehouse setting
  • Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of items
  • Use a warehouse management system to track inventory and locate items
  • Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfill orders and meet production goals

Skills:


  • Warehouse experience, including knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on forklifts and equipment
  • Proficiency in operating different types of forklifts, such as order pickers, pallet jacks, and hilo
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with the job
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and organization
  • Experience in operating heavy equipment is a plus

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
