Job description

This position is responsible for all phases and tasks involved with the wrapping and packaging of candy products including the assembly of packaging materials.

All employees in this position will rotate between stations on their assigned line at one-hour intervals.

They may rotate back to previous stations during a shift and are responsible for maintaining a clean work area between production runs and during down time.

Employees operate a variety of production machinery as assigned. The packer performs quality control/product inspection duties, and performs material handling as assigned.

Must have the ability to perform the physical requirements of the job and effectively operate a variety of production machines, including being able to lift up to 40 pounds, have sufficient manual dexterity to perform all jobs, and must be able to move through the work areas as needed to perform material handling, packing and similar duties.
