    About Us

LILT is the top AI solution for enterprise translations. Our technology stack, which includes our Contextual AI Engine, Connector APIs, and Human Adaptive Feedback, empowers global companies to embrace an authentic AI translation strategy, focusing on business results instead of mere outputs. With LILT, forward-thinking organizations like Intel, ASICS, WalkMe, and Canva utilize AI innovation to provide multilingual digital customer experiences at a large scale.

While our core AI technology may bear resemblances to ChatGPT and Google Translate, it's how we leverage it that sets LILT apart. Our groundbreaking Contextual AI Engine surpasses basic translations, grasping the subtleties of our clients' content and target audience to deliver highly accurate, business-centric outcomes. Through our connector-first approach, we seamlessly integrate with our clients' existing workflows, and our human-adapted feedback loop guarantees ongoing enhancement, making LILT a continuously evolving AI ally for your global endeavors.

Experience the best of both worlds at LILT: immerse yourself in dynamic in-office vibes for 2 days a week, fostering creativity and camaraderie with your fantastic team. Then seamlessly transition to ticking off tasks from the comfort of your home base for the remainder of the week. It's the ideal blend of efficiency and personal flexibility. Where You'll Work

This role is located in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, initially offering full remote work with a future transition to a hybrid setup once offices open in this region. We also welcome applicants open to fully remote positions.

Authorization to work in the U.S. is a prerequisite for employment.

    What You'll Do

As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for owning the product roadmap and its prioritization. You'll collaborate across departments to ensure that the product-market fit is indisputable for our enterprise product vision: an effective, high-quality word factory for enterprises.

You will closely engage with sales and engineering to cultivate a robust product culture that reduces lead times and maximizes the value delivered to customers. Additionally, you will define and launch a product for cross-customer data sharing/utilization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Outcomes - take charge of your OKRs, incorporate suitable instrumentation in every launch, measure your results, and iterate
    • Voice of the User - implement a product discovery process to become the internal authority on the developer-facing facets of our system
    • Roadmap - oversee the product roadmap for developer-facing features
    • Discovery - conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, carry out 1:1 interviews, and scrutinize product instrumentation; collaborate with design, internal stakeholders, and Enterprise clients to refine ideas/prototypes before progressing to implementation
    • Delivery - team up with engineering to draft PRDs/epics/stories, participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, acceptance criteria testing, and retrospectives. Cultivate a solid working relationship within your delivery team
    • Go To Market - communicate upcoming product releases, product performance, and create knowledge base articles and blog posts to champion your team's product contributions

    Skills and Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience managing APIs and integrations
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated capability to collect, organize, and synthesize substantial and diverse information (e.g., in unconventional fields like journalism or consulting)
    • Strong drive to master the product you create and comprehend the customer using the product
    • Proficiency in managing and executing projects through cross-functional collaboration and organizational influence
    • Background as a software engineer
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly preferred

Kindly note: The candidate must hold and sustain an active TS/SCI security clearance or be willing to obtain such clearance.

    Our Story

Our founders, Spence and John, crossed paths at Google while working on Google Translate. As researchers at Stanford and Berkeley, they both delved into language technology to make information accessible to all. Discovering that Google Translate wasn't utilized for enterprise products and services within the company, they departed to establish a new company to address this gap – LILT.

At its essence, LILT has always been a machine learning firm since its inception on March 6, 2015. At that time, machine translation fell short of the quality benchmark for enterprise translations, prompting LILT to assemble a top-notch research team tasked with bridging that divide. While meeting the demand for translation services, LILT has placed significant investments in Large Language Models, recognizing this foundation as crucial to the future of enterprise translation.

    Benefits:

    • Compensation: Competitive salary, valuable equity, 401(k) matching, and flexible time off alongside company holidays
    • Medical Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, including FSA/DFSA, HSA, and Commuter benefits. Moreover, LILT covers basic life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability for employees
    • Paid parental leave is available after 6 months.
    • Monthly lifestyle benefit stipend via the Fringe platform to empower employees to tailor benefits to their lifestyle

LILT fosters an inclusive workplace environment. We extend equal opportunities to all individuals, regardless of race, religion, nationality, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, medical condition, genetic traits, veteran or marital status, pregnancy, or any other classification safeguarded by pertinent state, local, or federal laws.
