- Strong knowledge of the project development life cycle process (i.e. planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, support).
- Strong knowledge, skills, and experience in effective written communication, including reports, proposals, recommendations, requirements gathering, system documentation, and presentation materials.
- Skill in principles and practices of effective oral communication, including facilitation of meetings and providing recommendations to customers, management, and users, in addition to providing consultation and presentations.
- Strong ability to coordinate and lead projects involving development teams, technical support staff, business area experts, vendors and third-party technology providers, business and IT management, external agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge and ability to utilize Jira for bug tracking, issue tracking and project management.
- Considerable skills in leading both Mainframe application and Java-based web application development and enhancement projects.
- Experience working in the public sector and/or with a government organization.
- Significant knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications.
