- Serve as the first point of contact, warmly greeting students and visitors entering the Patient Care Simulation Lab
- Proactively assist students and faculty using the lab; anticipate their needs in a friendly, supportive manner
- Equipment loaning management: Organize and maintain sign-out equipment, monitor returns daily, and contact students who have not returned equipment
- Inform the Lab Manager of any problems concerning loaned equipment
- Coordinate with the Lab Manager with researching needed supplies and equipment. Submit constructed equipment orders
- Maintain ordering/purchasing notebook and follow up with outstanding orders
- Maintain Student Time Tracking Computer and make corrections to student logs when needed
- Compile monthly lab usage statistics
- Give assistance, when necessary, with operating other lab computers
- Maintain organization of the Nurses' Station and provide assistance to maintain organization of the
- Put away supplies as needed
- Organize storage areas and assist in setting up equipment for classes and simulations
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Knowledge of computer and office machine use
- Typing and data processing
- Excellent and appropriate written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to professionally handle confidential information
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
