- Formulate and execute strategies and processes for identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities within the organization.
- Assess risks and evaluate existing controls to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness in mitigating identified risks.
- Proactively identify potential risks by monitoring and analyzing indicators, trends, and emerging issues. Develop appropriate response plans.
- Work with cross-functional teams to establish best practices in risk management and integrate them into business operations.
- Offer guidance and training to employees on risk management policies, procedures, and practices to enhance awareness and foster a risk-conscious culture.
- Interpret complex data to identify patterns, trends, and potential areas of concern. Provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain risk registers, assessment reports, and other documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of identified risks and mitigation efforts.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management controls and processes. Recommend improvements as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in risk management. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including insurers, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Provide necessary risk-related information and ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, practices, and methodologies.
