The Department of Animal Sciences seeks a postdoctoral fellow for a 12 to 24-month term under the supervision of Dr.
This position is part of projects focused on multigenerational impacts of providing protein/energy and vitamin/mineral supplements to beef heifers during gestation.
Our lab is also working on impacts of paternal nutrition and management on sperm and offspring outcomes.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
sample collection, sequencing library preparation (e.g. RNA-seq, miRNA-seq), bioinformatic analysis of sequencing data, and manuscript preparation. Previous experience with bioinformatic analysis is a strong asset, but not a requirement.
Work Schedule:
12-month term (1.0 FTE)
