About This Role:
The Graduate School is seeking a full-time communications and marketing specialist. The communications and marketing specialist provides support to all aspects of Graduate School operations.
Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain communication strategies for the Graduate School
*Produce and distribute the Graduate School e-newsletter and other written communications with from the Graduate School to university constituents
*Coordinate and manage all digital (e.g., email, web, social media), and print communications and marketing for the Graduate School
*Maintain and develop new components for the Graduate School website
*Provide support to the Dean with developing communication with alumni and to support fundraising
*Collaborate with other units in the Graduate School to support student success, recruitment, admission, and retention
*Coordinate with Graduate School administrative team, KSU Division of Communications and Marketing, and graduate program directors to increase use of social media/web in department/KSU recruitment activities
*In coordination with academic units' communication strategies, develop and implement marketing strategies that are aligned with the KSU Division of Communications and Marketing practices
*Provide communications and marketing support to the Graduate Student Council
