    Design Group is recruiting for a **Customer Service Specialist** to join our team in Manhattan, KS

    In this role, the **Customer Service Specialist** will work with products from McCalls and Simplicity. You will handle inbound shipments from store closures, returns, or damaged goods; handle purchase requests for items needed for office or remote; and handle store complaints.

    This exciting position will allow you to play an important role by creating initial stock shipments for new stores including major retailers, maintaining vendor portals, and setting up new accounts in Customer Master.

    Attention to detail is a must, as you will create fill-in orders and discard credit orders, process orders that are taken over the phone, by email, or over fax; as well as, key orders taken from retail stores or schools. You will also generate cancellation/credit memos for stores closing or issues with shipments and process WebDocs for EDI orders that come through with errors.

    Our ideal candidate is someone with 1-2 years of customer service related work. B2B experience is preferred.

    The **Customer Service Specialist** will need to demonstrate strong computer skills including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel as you will be responsible for running EOM reports and logging sales for commission pay for sales representatives.

    The person who will excel in this role will have the proven ability to work with confidential pricing and new products.
