    Summary

    You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

    Duties
    • You will assign, plan, organize, coordinate and direct, directly or indirectly, the work of six Division heads and approximately 60 other employees, ranging in grade from GS-05 to GS-14, as well as five military personnel and 10+ Contractors.
    • You will provide administrative, managerial and technical direction to personnel, directs and controls all special projects assigned and ensures that all missions and functions of the Directorate are carried out in the best interest of the Navy.
    • You will develop and establish Command administrative policy and guidelines in relation to the management of subordinate Command Staff Departments.
    • You will be responsible for management of interpretive services for NAVSUP WSS employees, including overseeing contract management for services.
    • You will manage and prioritize the workload for administrative and protocol requirements for the command, primarily through the administrative staff located in the Command Operations Directorate.
    • You will serve as back up to the Director in all Command Operations matters, including representation at the NAVSUP WSS Board of Directors Meetings.

    Qualifications

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing, supervising, planning, and/or administering and participating in the work of a staff responsible for analyzing and evaluating major administrative and managerial aspects of substantive, mission-oriented programs; 2) Utilizing qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the analysis, assessment and improvement of programs and complex management processes; 3) Designing and conducting comprehensive management studies and preparing solutions to broad, important management problems; 4) Planning, organizing, and directing team study work; 5) Effectively conducting critical negotiations, discussions, and facilitations with management; 6) Utilizing superior oral and written communication skills to prepare written instructions, present command briefings and write detailed analysis on findings and reports.
