Estimated Regular Hours/Week: 40.00
Contract Duration: 3-6 months + Possible extension

Project Overview:
We are embarking on an ambitious project to streamline budgetary processes across our network of parks and recreational facilities. This project will focus on consolidating and clarifying financial data from various sources, making it easily accessible and interpret-able for both on-site management and our executive team.

Key Points to Note:

Project Importance: The visibility into individual park expenditures is currently insufficient. Our objective is to develop a system that facilitates transparent tracking of operational costs, including utilities and staffing, which will aid in more effective budget management and resource distribution.
Scope and Phases: The initial stage will center on organizing and restructuring the existing data. This phase is anticipated to take approximately three months, with subsequent stages likely to involve implementing automated data management solutions.
Role Specifications:
- Location Requirements: The role necessitates full-time, on-site engagement at our headquarters in Alhambra to ensure effective collaboration with our accounting and development teams.
- Team Dynamics: The selected Business Analysts (BAs) will report to a Senior Business Analyst and will work alongside team members focusing on various data aspects, including recreational activities, HR, and utilities.
- Responsibilities: Key tasks involve data analysis, process enhancements, and automation efforts. BAs will be tasked with data collection and validation to establish new, efficient procedural frameworks.

Skills Required:

Work with business users to define process that migrates data from one spreadsheet format to another Identify gaps in existing data compared to required data Define data quality heuristics to fix/improve as it goes from source to destination format Work with programming team to create business logic code for import of transferred data as well as determine quality checks and recovery steps for data problems

Experience Required:

This classification must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.

Education Required:

This classification requires the possession of a bachelor's degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
