The Job Opportunity
We are looking for a savvy and driven Sr. Account Manager to join our growing team (preferably with a background and experience in EFK's clients, industries or similar) who is ready to dive into the trenches and make an immediate impact. As Sr. Account Manager, you would work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to support overall strategies and drive effective results through traditional media
relations, reimagined PR, and social media solutions. This role will report directly to the VP of Account Services, Advertising and Public Relations.
This full-time position is very much a proactive and hands-on position. Candidates should love writing and be excellent at it, have experience AND confidence interacting with clients, in addition to proven success in securing meaningful coverage.
In this role, you would be responsible for the following:
Spearhead the development of PR strategies for clients in collaboration with the team
Foster deep relationships with media, influencers, and brand partners
Actively pitch and drive high-level and impactful media results while mentoring others to do the same
Maintain ongoing and effective communication with clients, while participating in weekly meetings and sharing results on a consistent basis
Liaise between clients and the agency
Serve as the lead point of contact for client brands
Lead weekly to bi-weekly client calls
Proactively ideate creative ways to amplify coverage and overall clients' brand awareness
Develop presentations, briefs, and PR internal and external PR materials such as press releases, media kits, and more
Track coverage, update, and share comprehensive reports and results with stakeholders
Attend onsite events, activations, or in-person opportunities
Support cross-functional alignment across the organization
Ability to support the VP and promote team structure
What We're Looking For
Experience: 6+ years of public relations/media relations agency experience with experience managing clients, developing and executing successful PR and integrating with social media strategies (when applicable).
Strategic: A strategic thinker who approaches projects from a holistic and integrated view.
Client Relations: Proven track record at building and growing trusting client relationships. The confidence to communicate with clients and manage relationships and expectations
Media Relations: Existing, solid relationships with local and national media, and a love for cultivating those connections and networking.
Communication: Superior communication and written skills.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for focusing on the details and keeping organized.
Punctual: Must be able to adhere to strict deadlines, in addition to being punctual for meetings, events, calls, etc.
Team Player: A collaborative and spirited team player who will do what it takes to get the job done in a timely manner.
Positive Attitude: A positive thinker who is focused on finding solutions and contributing to a positive team environment.
Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PR, with some proficiency in digital and traditional media channels including social media.
