****Summary****
This position will be responsible for supporting the Kraus-Anderson (KA) Yard department by servicing internal customers by receiving, processing, and filling orders in person and over the telephone; advising internal customers on prices and materials. The position will also be responsible for tracking inventory and recordkeeping.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
Manages count levels on tools, equipment and consumables.
Takes and writes delivery orders.
Catalogs and numbers tools to inventory system.
Labels shelves and creates barcodes.
Receives, tracks and expedites incoming deliveries.
Records and calculates maintenance records on vehicles and equipment.
Prepares Purchase Orders for Field Superintendents and Yard Personnel.
Insures transfer accuracy.
Maintains procurement records, maintenance records & historical costs records for services.
Maintains inventory log of maintenance supplies & Yard consumables.
Checks Out Tools to Superintendents & Projects Based on Real Time Records of Assignments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
High school diploma or GED
One year of Construction or Inventory Control experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Demonstrated knowledge of construction equipment and consumables
Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
**Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
Knowledge of Inventory Control software
Knowledge of ToolWatch software program
Knowledge of ViewPoint software program
**Other:**
Valid forklift certification or ability to receive certification within 30 days
