    Are you a seasoned machinist with a knack for precision and a keen eye for detail? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a skilled Permanent Manual Machinist to join our team. This position is not for the faint-hearted, but for those who relish challenges and thrive in high-energy, fast-paced environments.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in manual lathe operation, machine setup, manual milling, precision measurement, and blueprint reading. You will be working with horizontal lathes and mills, contributing to the production of high-quality products that meet our stringent standards and the needs of our clients.

    Responsibilities:

    As a Permanent Manual Machinist, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    1. Operating and maintaining manual lathes and mills to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
    2. Setting up machines and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
    3. Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand the requirements of the product.
    4. Utilizing precision measurement tools to inspect and verify the dimensions of the parts.
    5. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
    6. Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and procedures within the workspace.
    7. Regularly cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment to ensure longevity and optimal performance.
    8. Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and efficiency within the production line.

    Qualifications:

    To be considered for this role, you must have:

    1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manual Machinist in the manufacturing industry.
    2. Proficiency in manual lathe operation, machine setup, manual milling, and precision measurement.
    3. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    4. Extensive experience with horizontal lathes and horizontal mills.
    5. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
    6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    7. A strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
    8. A high school diploma or equivalent, with a vocational or technical training certificate in machining being a plus.
