- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all service department staff.
- Direct and schedule the activities of all department employees.
- Provide technical assistance to employees as needed.
- Conduct meetings with department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest.

- Fixed Operations Director, Service Manager/Director 3 years' experience required.
- Automotive Service Director/Manager or several years management experience in a multi-franchise group
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in an auto repair facility.
- ASE certification preferred.
- 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication, supervisory, and managerial skills.
- Ability to operate the department at a profit according to dealership guidelines.

What We Offer
The Service Director is responsible for running an efficient and profitable service department. He/She will operate the department at maximum production, controlling costs, building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relationships, setting, and obtaining sales and profit objectives, and maintaining service records.

Pay Scale
The Service Director Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. $130,000 to 180,000+ (with base pay, commissions, and bonuses) annually with all things being equal. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value, or the number of closed sales achieved from $0.00 to $10,000 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 to $2,000(if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
