    Senior Help Desk - Minneapolis, United States - LHH

    Role Summary:

    The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for company-wide technology support and operational activities encompassing applications, infrastructure, communications, and security. They will support multiple subsidiary organizations located throughout North America.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Interact daily by phone, email, web, and face-to-face with business users and stakeholders to respond to user requests, understand business needs, troubleshoot and resolve user issues in a timely and courteous manner.
    • Installing updates, patches and upgrades to end user machines to ensure proper security, protection and compliance.
    • Level 1/2/3 desktop and application support.
    • Support of Windows 10/11, Office 365 with productivity apps, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
    • Working within the Office 365 administration console.
    • Security activities including management of user accounts, security and distribution groups, etc.
    • Experience working with LogMeIn, AnyDesk or other similar remote support tools.
    • Technical knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware, mobile devices, VoIP, printers and A/V systems.
    • Knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, and Group Policies.
    • Support of printers and print servers.
    • Experience with iOS devices.
    • Backup and restore activities from on-premise and cloud utilities.
    • Troubleshooting and support of networked devices (computers, switches, routers, etc.).
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Preferred Experience:

    Experience in engagement with multiple management levels across technical users and business units. Familiarity with ticketing / issue tracking systems experience a plus with supporting ERPs such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 or greater remote application support.

    Work Experience:

    4+ years experience in similar role or IT-related field.

    Experience supporting a 247 environment.

    Prior work experience within finance or aviation sectors a plus.

    Education:

    2 or 4-year degree in computer science, information technology, information systems or related area is required.

    A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications are desirable.
